Role: Dev Ops Engineer (Infrastructure) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Payout: $20 - $70/hour
Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities:• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions.• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement Dev Ops best practices and enhance deployment efficiency.• Support cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability and cost optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions.• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
